Yesterday was a hot day walking around Philadelphia. I walked to Whole Foods to pick up a nice ribeye for myself and after picking up my meat, I decided to pick up two drinks for the walk back home. One was the Suja Organic Lemongrass Lime Probiotic Vinegar Drink made with Coconut Vinegar. The other was a Doc’sTea Sangria which I’ll review in another post.
One of the things I’m always hesitant with a drink like this is that they taste nothing like the real thing. Either they’re too bitter or bland or they leave a funky aftertaste. Looking at the macros, this is perfect for Keto, so I wished for the best.
The Ingredients
Water, Organic Lemon Juice, Organic Coconut Vinegar, Organic Lime Juice, Organic Ginger Juice, Organic Lemongrass Juice, Organic Stevia Leaf Extract Powder, Bacillus Coagulans GBI-30 6086
Conclusion
This was absolutely delicious. Everything about this Suja Lemongrass Lime Probiotic Vinegar drink is perfectly balanced and I highly recommend it for a workout or a walk on a hot day. The lemon and lime are tangy but not overpowering. It’s the perfect balance of tart and sweet. It was more like a limeade than a vinegar drink with a hint of lime or lemon. I would also mention that if you’re sensitive to alternative keto friendly sweeteners such as stevia and monk fruit due to their often unpleasant aftertaste, there is nothing to fear here. I could personally not taste any strange aftertaste and the drink tasted the same all the way through. It always sucks when you have a delicious drink only to be followed by a horrible chemical aftertaste. With this drink, no such worry!
