The Smart Baking Company has recently come out with a new line of products: Smart Muffins. I’ve had the smart cakes before which my girlfriend turned me onto. They’re pretty rad and a delicious snack. In this post, I discuss the Chocolate Chip Smart Muffins. When the Smart Baking Company sent us some muffins to sample, I was pretty excited to try these. They’re a bit heftier than the smart cakes. And of course, I already did enjoy the Sesame Smart Buns!
Chocolate Chip Ingredients: Eggs, Purified Water, Proprietary Fiber Blend (Oat Fiber, Corn Fiber, Flax), Erythritol, Whey Protein Isolate, Olive Oil, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Powder, Sunflower Lecithin, Potassium Chloride, Salt, Cellulose Gum, Monk Fruit, Citric Acid, Spices, Herbs, Stevia
The Chocolate Chip Smart Muffins were pretty good. The pumpkin flavor was still my favorite. However, this was a pretty good solid keto-friendly muffin. The consistency is pretty light and airy. I cooked mine in the air fryer as I just tend to prefer that to the microwave. The company suggests these muffins are microwaved for 30 seconds. This would be good if you like a light and airy cake in the morning, that’s what it reminded me of. Certainly a good morning treat.
