Summary
On a hot summer day, sometimes you want to eat fucking ice cream. Unfortunately, most keto ice creams taste like chalky garbage, and most good ice creams will spike your insulin and give you the good ‘ol Type 2 diabetes. Yeah, you don’t want that shit.
So today, I wanted to try out Halo Top‘s new Keto Flavor of ice cream: Banana Cream Pie. I’m a huge fan of a good cream pie and to have that with a banana in the form of ice cream, count me in!
Ingredients
Ultrafiltered Skim Milk, Cream, Erythritol, Chocolate Swirl (Peanut Oil, Nonfat Dry Milk, Natural Cocoa, Chocolate Liquor, Cocoa (Processed With Alkali), Sunflower Lecithin, Natural Flavors, Salt), Banana Base (Banana Puree, Water, Salt, Ascorbic Acid), Eggs, Vegetable Glycerin, Soluble Corn Fiber, Cannoli Pieces (Enriched Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Chicory Root Fiber, Palm Oil, Water, Salt, Natural Flavor), Chicory Root Fiber, Cellulose Gel, Cellulose Gum, Sea Salt, Natural Flavor, Stevia Leaf Extract (Reb M).
As you can probably see, these are not the cleanest ingredients around, hence use as a keto-cheat, not as the bulk of your calories.
Where To Buy
You can buy most Halo Top ice cream flavors on Amazon. Click here for what they have available. However, if you want the keto flavors specifically, you’ll need to head over to Wal-Mart or buy directly from their website.
